3/1/2016 I've been playing around with some new poetry between writing a new novel, "The Highwayman". Here's a draft of one I'm calling 'Follow the Snake Down".
The mourning son
Arise against
Seven colors of punishment
Phosphorous
We grew them in
Frequency
Implant in head
Follow the snake down
Bite marks clamp down
Mirrors falling all around
Shadow makes a sound
Follow the snake down
Business
Creates the frame
Tetanous
Shot for the brain
Ache for substance
S__t roll sin
Institutionalized
Darwinian
Follow the snake down
Bite marks clamp down
Sharp upon your evening gown
Brittle reason to the ground
