The Democrat Party: Nothing Has Changed Except the Hood
The Ku Klux Klan was founded as the activist wing of the Democratic Party. kkk rally 2 On September 28, 1868, a mob of Democrats massacred nearly 300 African-American Republicans in Opelousas, Louisiana. The savagery began when racist Democrats attacked a newspaper editor, a white Republican and schoolteacher for ex-slaves. Several African-Americans rushed to the assistance of their friend, and in response, Democrats went on a Negro hunt, killing every African-American (all of whom were Republicans) in the area they could find. (Via Grand Old Partisan)
Democrats in hoods slaughtered hundreds of Republicans and blacks across the country. They beat and threatened and murdered Republicans for standing with the black man.
On April 20, 1871 the Republicans passed the anti-Ku Klux Klan Act outlawing Democratic terrorist groups.
The KKK has lost its popularity among Democrats the past few years but not its tactics.
Democrats still dress in masks and beat and abuse conservatives and Republicans. Today theyre called Antifa.

They haven’t hated a president this much either since the last time a Republican president took away all their slaves.
Where’s Senator Byrd when you need him.
And you recall what they did to HIM.
The Democrats most certainly HAVE changed! Since McGovern the cultural Marxist whose ideology was intended by those communists who indoctrinated them are set on a course to cultural/national suicide.
They are more and more the creatures that the Frankfurt School sought to create, not to be the communists to take over but the useful idiots to destroy the culture that exists and then swept away and discarded by those who were to take over once they had destroyed the nation.
And they are nothing more.
They have been indoctrinated to be culturally/nationally suicidal to the point that they eagerly fulfill the same role for the likes of the Muslim Brotherhood, completely oblivious that their necks will be on the block once the Muslims get their way ... little different than what the actual communist probably had in store for them.
Before the dominance of the cultural Marxist on the left they were as progressives opposed to everything this nation was founded to be, true of progressives even before FDR slimed his way across history and kicked the Constitution to the curb, but the old “progressives” were not culturally suicidal, they hoped to create something to endure. So they, for example, needed history, even if it had bad things in it.
This has all played out very much like 1860.
The goal in tearing down monuments, etc, is to erase the racist slavery, KKK history of the democrat party. They want their history swept away and these statues and monuments are representative of their history of slavery, the KKK, and secession.
Now, using their premise that these monuments are reminders of slavery that the “people” want to forget. Fine. It is time to erase the most glaring and long-standing reminder of slavery and hate; the democrat party.
It is time to outlaw the democrat party, to tear down all monuments to democrat presidents and other democrat notables. Tear down any statues of FDR, Wilson, Jackson, Senator Byrd and others. Rename all of those streets, parks, and expressways. Remove all references to any democrat or the democrat party and you remove the real public references to slavery and hate.
Rename them all after Republican presidents. The Republican party was the party of abolition, the party that ended slavery.
End the democrat party and maybe you can end the hate.
The Democrats made him leader of the Senate!
They referred to him as the 'conscience of the Senate'
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
In 1942, 24-year-old Byrd joined the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), whose parades in Matoaka, West Virginia, he had witnessed in his childhood. He was unanimously elected Exalted Cyclops, or leader, of his local chapter.[8]
Byrd, in his autobiography, attributed the beginnings of his political career to this incident, although he lamented that they involved the Klan.
According to Byrd, a KKK official told him "You have a talent for leadership, Bob... The country needs young men like you in the leadership of the nation." Byrd recalls that "suddenly lights flashed in my mind! Someone important had recognized my abilities! I was only 23 or 24 years old, and the thought of a political career had never really hit me. But strike me that night, it did."[4]
He participated in the KKK during World War II, holding the titles Kleagle (recruiter) and Exalted Cyclops [the top officer in the local Klan unit]. He did not serve in the military during the war, working instead as a welder in a Baltimore, Maryland shipyard, where he helped build warships.[citation needed]
Byrd commented on the 1945 controversy about racially integrating the military. Byrd, when he was 28 years old, wrote to segregationist Senator Theodore Bilbo, of Mississippi, vowing never to serve in such a military:
"Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.[5]"
He had earlier written "I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side".[6][7]

From the Washington Post:
"Byrd said in the Dec. 11, 1945, letter -- which would not become public for 42 more years with the publication of a book on blacks in the military during World War II by author Graham Smith -- that he would never fight in the armed forces "with a Negro by my side." Byrd added that, "Rather I should die a thousand times, and see old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.."..."
"during the general election campaign, Byrd's GOP opponent uncovered a letter Byrd had handwritten to Green, the KKK Imperial Wizard, recommending a friend as a Kleagle and urging promotion of the Klan throughout the country. The letter was dated 1946 -- long after the time Byrd claimed he had lost interest in the Klan. "The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia," Byrd wrote, according to newspaper accounts of that period. Byrd makes no mention of the letter in his new book."

"They [his fellow democrats] refer to the Senate's senior Democrat [Robert Byrd] as the 'conscience of the Senate.' ..."
Sen. Byrd warned: "There are white niggers. I've seen a lot of white niggers in my time. I'm going to use that word. We just need to work together to make our country a better country, and I'd just as soon quit talking about it so much."
