Another woman has come forward to say she was sexually molested in the 1970s by the film director Roman Polanski.

The woman, named only as Robin, told a news conference that the alleged attack happened in 1973 when she was 16. She is the third woman to accuse Polanski of child abuse.

He fled the US in 1978 after admitting statutory rape of a 13 year old.

It is unfortunate that he has never faced the consequences of his actions. More effort should be made to extradict him to the US, throw him in jail.

Everything has already been said about this pervert and criminal who is so loved by the self righteous elites of Europe who have so long protected him.

“Chinatown” remains one of my favorite films of all time. Polanski, the man who directed it, is a vile criminal who belongs in prison and has managed to escape scot-free.

The first 2/3s of Chinatown was good, then Polanski let the last thirds ruin it.

Sharon Tate: the blonde so hot she made Polanski forget that he’s really attracted to little girls.

Poor Sharon Tate, the others killed that night and the La Biancas the next night.

I will never forget reading the book about these killers.

Sharon married a creep, he messed around with minors, and she was butchered by the Manson clan.

It’s a scandal of major proportions when Manson and his followers come up for parole every so often.

Liberals must be very proud of this circumstance.

Manson should have fried over two decades ago. His followers too...

Even I knew this as a kid. The three of them were known to be looking for very young girls at Hollywood clubs. I stayed away from them as they scared me. Polanski, Nicholson, and Beatty.

The Tenant was always my favorite scary movie. Still he belongs in jail.

He would have, DoughtyOne, if the CA Supreme Court had not ruled the death penalty as “cruel and unusual punishment”. So Charlie and his followers escaped the sentence imposed and have lived on at taxpayer expense for many a year (except for Susan Atkins who died of cancer in 2009).

Well, I agree that California did this, but during that time period many states did the same thing. The Leftists pushed to abolish the death penalty in many states, and sadly met with success.

Californians got so fed up at one point, they voted out the California Supreme Court Chief Justice (Rose Bird) and two other California Supreme Court justices. One of the high points in our last 50 years in state.

I’m not sure if the SCOTUS got involved in that period, but it may have. States changed their rules regarding the death penalty, and now some who abolished it, have it again.

California presently officially has it, but the Leftists in charge never enforce it. We have 749 people on death row right now.

You’re right, but as the BBC didn’t think it worth inclusion in their report, allow me to remind our readers once more what the charges were: (1) rape by use of drugs (2) perversion (3) sodomy (4) lewd and lascivious act upon a child under fourteen (5) furnishing a controlled substance to a minor.

To call it statutory rape suggests that it was consentual.

He didn’t seduce a 13-year-old, he drugged her and raped her.

"Her" is Samantha Geimer. I finished her 2013 book "The Girl" about a month ago, and if her narrative is true, you are correct in every way. Her mother gets some of the blame for allowing her to be in that situation, and Geimer herself was very aggressively promoting her own career. What got me was that Polanski didn't spend any energy or thought in sexually satisfying her, he just, as he admitted, "used" her!

Cheaper to leave him in Europe. His victim was ok with it. Doesn’t make it ok but we’ve got other fish to fry.
