Yet another clever public relations move by an NFL player. Insult the fans, the very people who pay to see you play.

How much are the drunks being paid?

Well, he IS right about this. Nobody who stands with his hat one and swigs a beer while the national anthem is playing has any credibility to complain about the NFL players who are sitting or kneeling.

Were they doing it during the National Anthem?

Clean up your own crap and then you can discuss the transgressions of others.

It’s a free country.
Free for people to sit during the National Antham...
... and free for people who object to the jerks sitting to boycott games and advertisers.
If liberals had their way it would only be ‘free’ for them... in short a liberal elite totalitarian hell State...

The answer is so very simple......you Doug Baldwin,Michael Bennett, and other’s are leader of lots and lots of young people....your a Hero to them and expected to set a good example....
To: Leaning Right
Yep, he just insulted the Seahawks “12th” players. Doesn’t this dufus know he is a sports celebrity as opposed to being one of the many?

It's not ok twinkle toes but we do not pay them so we have no control over them. Just like it would not be ok if you went shirtless and painted yourself orange or whatever your team color is.
But I can see that you wish to be unemployed so keep it up twinkle toes and you will get your wish soon enough.

You can only control your own actions and reactions. The behavior of the crowd should not influence your decision to stand and be respectful during the National Anthem.

BECAUSE YOU’RE THERE TO PLAY FOOTBALL, not make political commentary.
DO THAT OFF THE FIELD ALL YOU WANT! I will support your right to say anything.
But your FIRST job is to attract and keep an audience. Pissing-off half of them is not going to help.

And he made a salient point, one thats rarely mentioned: why is it that some of the same people who condemn Bennett, and before him, Colin Kaepernick, are ones Baldwin sees in the stands at games, not standing at attention while the song is being played or performed? He made a fictional point.
How would he know that the ungrateful and ignorant slobs in the stands who are disrespectful during the playing of our National Anthem are the ones that condemn bennett? This is not a likely case, at all, and everyone (everyone) knows it.

They need to cut Bennett as they slim down their roster. Raiders need to do the same with their Seahawk Castoff.
