I AM in business for myself - 3 employees and some temp workers and commissioned sales agents.

I believe the leftist regulatory nanny-state is in the DNA of all Federal regulators, and they very much prefer a fascist style (they wouldn’t call it that) command economy with a few politically-connected large companies that they can deal with and regulate easily, which is greatly preferred over the cacophony of many small businesses.

It's called "regulatory capture", and you gotta be a big player to participate. Small mom-and-pop startups can't get onto the field in that game.
