Speier also quoted from Voltaire in a tweet: “Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.”

My God, if that isn’t projection...

It’s kinda like Antifa being a fascist organization. It’s the primary tool of the left, except the rest of us are on to them. They just look stupid.

I am in no way speaking in political hyperbole when I say that I can honestly now directly see how the great purge under Stalin, the cultural revolution under Mao, and the killing fields under Pol Pot occurred and seemed normal to people at the time in their respective society.

I stand here and am stunned as I watch much of the country getting whipped into an absolute frenzy. We are coming dangerously close to the point where the left justifies wholesale violence and bloodshed in the belief that violence is morally warranted in the face of perceived racism.

In society and in pop culture it is of no consequence to take the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, or God Himself in utter blasphemous vain, but you dare not speak the n-word — ever! — out of some absolute social code to prove you are not a racist. It is absurd.

But we can see the Left ratcheting up the rhetoric and I fear violence will be soon be breached as the rhetoric begins to turn, slowly at first, toward the justification and appropriateness of violence in the face of anything, or anyone, perceived to be held as a racist, or if they are possibly a racist, or suspected racist.

Yep, this is how a great many people have been slaughtered once the group think takes an irrational but firm grip on society.

This is what seems to be playing out right now. I hope I am wrong.
