We must make a stand against unwarranted glorification of a war that saw so much injustice done to Japanese Americans and other minorities.
The monuments to Confederate soldiers, who were, by law, also US veterans, had to come down, and recognition of veterans of the predominately white, segregated US armed forces of WWII is too painful for the descendants of the victims of this hateful bigotry to endure...”
