Didn’t watch NFL last year.

Won’t this year.

Interesting and maybe volatile comment. I like it. You made an astute comment :)

I love football, the game and everything that goes with it. Same with most sports (but we’re talking about football here). Everything is politicized now, even or especially, our entertainment. It’s a shame our side either gave up or ignored what was happening all these years.

Yeah if this stupidity continues/worsens I am finished with the NFL also. I won’t support any disrespect shown to my flag, country, or anthem by a bunch of racist millionaires.

Like the Google memo, this is not promoting any actual conversation or change. It’s just a chance for virtue signaling. Those in the Ctrl-Left pretend they are special because they are “woke”. Anyone who engages in “conversation” but does not agree 100% and use their exact approved words when agreeing will be destroyed. Do they actually think that insulting sacred symbols is an effective start to an open conversation, or is the goal to offend so they can pretend to be victims?

Were any of America’s enemies on the left influenced by the Google memo? Nope. They dismissed it as hate speech that created a hostile work environment, and they used that characterization to fire the fool who wrote it. It doesn’t matter whether the memo was 100% right, 100% wrong, or in between; that outcome would have been the same regardless. No opinions were changed, although some skeptics might take the warning and keep quiet on that topic no matter how egregious the leftist abuses and diversity training may become.

Were any real Americans influenced by Colin K? Nope. They dismissed his nonsense as rude, disrespectful, treasonous, and politicizing what was supposed to be recreation. It doesn’t matter whether Colin and BLM were 100% right, 100% wrong, or in between; the outcome of his disrespect to our flag, our anthem, our country, and our ancestors who died for freedom would have been the same regardless. No opinions were changed. Apparently, some football players are not smart enough to take the hint and just keep quiet. If their careers disappear, along with the entire NFL, I’m okay with that.

Hey Bennett, suppose we cut off all your ticket and TV revenues, boycott all games, and you and your buddies can go try to work at the local car wash??!! if you actually did anything with your free college education, maybe you will have an alternative career, but a lot of you guys will be out on the streets.

Huge Seahawks fan here.

Unless the franchise or the NFL puts an emphatic stop to this nonsense, that ended tonight.

The NFL, Democrats, GOP-e. All of them.

They don’t learn...ever. The world they live in is one of virtual signalling and leftist politics.

People are SO sick of this about now.

Do it! Great idea. Maybe all NFL players can give the people of the USA the collective finger all at once. Do it! Let’s put an end to this stupid league once and for all.

The NFL is making multi-millionaires out of complete idiots just because they can run and jump. It’s perverting the entire economy. Society can put those financial resources to much better use and the population will be much better served by not wasting every fall Sunday sitting in front of a stupid television set. Win. Win. Win.

End the NFL now!

I only reason I watched the Superbowl last year was the Patriots who were friendly with Trump. It watched 1/5 the number of games thanks to the national anthem bs.

Simple solution - Apply the Affirmative Action Law to the NFL, NBA and all college & HS athletics.

I read Bennett and his writing’s, especially when it comes to https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/70561.The_Gulag_Archipelago_1918_1956

I read Bennett. Sorry, he says nothing except hates the country that gives him and his family wealth. He wants to be a leader like Lenin: https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Useful_idiot. Notice there is now “rational wiki” as opposed to?

He is making over $10 million a year. You’d figure he could just play the damned game and do his political stunts on his own time. Football been bera bera good to him.

“I have already decided what an extra 19 Sundays of free time would mean in my life.”

Here in Pittsburgh, those days that feature “The Running Man” game show on TV are the *best* days to get food shopping done. Everyone is at home getting all stressed out over steroid fueled meatbags running into one another. The roads are wide open and nobody is out.

I can’t fathom why people, especially conservatives, still support this league. The alphabet networks would take billions of dollars in losses if people would tune out. The players are, for the most part, drugged up suicidal killing machines. There are so many rules these days that refs can control the ‘flow’ of a game via penalties on any given play. It’s a television game show that only resembles a sport anymore.

I stopped paying attention to the NFL after they gave the Steelers Super Bowl XL and screwed Seattle. It was so obvious that the game was a manufactured joke. My late father used to bitch about NBC being biased against the Steelers ... even he saw what kind of a joke the league was by the time Rapistberger and the boys were given a joke Lombardi trophy and “one for the thumb”.

The NFL hit it’s peak in the 90s ... It’s been a slow motion train wreck ever since. If you have to watch it this season, pay close attention to the soap opera type atmosphere they create before, during, and after the game. You’ll start to puke.

/Rant off :-)

It’s huge. Cut the cord after the first Megan kelly debate way more productive on things I want to do. Was thinking of watching this year but this article cured that. I watched probably 34 years easiest habit to break ever

"Huge Seahawks fan here."

I am too.

Bennett can kiss my ass.

I never miss a "Hawks" game.

His actions sicken me and honestly have poisoned me against the team.

Pete Carroll is such a pu$$y.

Tell Bennett he can stay in the locker room and slink out AFTER the National Anthem, if it "bothers" him so much.

I can't believe this a$$hole is ruining my love of all things Seahawks.

He needs to be booed off the field.

Hey Bent_It. If the guy in the following newsclip watches you play/get millions this season......then I'll watch you too!!!!!

The remains of a U.S. Marine will be returned home to California’s Central Coast nearly 74 years after he was killed in a bloody World War II battle in the Pacific. The remains of Pfc. George B. Murray will be flown from Hawaii to Los Angeles on Wednesday and buried Friday with honors in Arroyo Grande (San Luis Obispo County) near his hometown of Oceano, where a “Welcome Home” sign is already standing outside an old railroad depot that is now a community center and local history museum. (Excerpt) Read more at sfgate.com ...

Have a nice concussion, crybaby.
