President Donald Trump has stepped up his attacks on Republican senators, an approach he may regret if he is someday impeached and the Senate has to weigh charges against him stemming from an investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election.
More than half of the 11 Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which would be central to any proceeding to remove Trump from office, have tangled with the Republican president, including on Thursday when he fired off early-morning tweets.
There is little serious talk being heard in Congress about removing Trump from office.

First of all there will be NO IMPEACHMENT, second of all, what Republicans Senators is the author talking about? There isn’t any one that is supporting Our President except the 65 + millions of American Voters that is STILL SUPPORTING HIM!!!
AND I might add: THE LIST IS GROWING!!!
I think we can safely say that ‘snowflakes’ and ‘brains’ do not blend well these days!!!
Friendless? President Trump has at least 62 million who are loyal to him. Congress can go to hades.
Who do the GOP senators think are going to vote for them? It sure isn’t going to be a democrat. They keep forgetting that Trump has a heck of a lot more support in this country than they do. They need to stop listening to the lying Fake News polls.
There is a great PRO-Trump march scheduled for Washington, I believe on 16 September.
I think we will better armed then with torches and pitchforks.
