A simple majority to impeach in the House is hard enough. A 2/3rds majority of 67 Senators to convict is damn near impossible.

You could get 75 or more in the senate to convict right now. On a rumor. The house would be a little harder but they’d drop the hammer, too.

If I had to bet, most of the house and senate ‘republicans’ voted for Hillary.

In the entire history of this nation, there has NEVER been the removal of a president, by the Senate and there have only been TWO impeached presidents; both Dems, but only one of them was elected president.

That’s right. Let’s not forget that Bill Clinton WAS impeached ! But, he was not convicted of the impeachment, so by law all memory of the episode is erased from the public consciousness.
