Stephen Miller remains along with Sessions. Bannon may be more effective outside the WH given the way the deck was stacked against him. As long as Miller stays, the Trump agenda on trade and immigration will go forward.

This was my very first thought after hearing the news. McMaster is still in place, and by some unseen reason, seems untouchable. So now PDJT is letting the MSM fill his cabinet? Nothing good can come of that. I had written, in a thread here, some time ago that I hoped that PDJT had not grown weary to the point where he just wanted something...anything positive (perceived or actual)to be said about this presidency. We can argue the merits, or lack of, regarding Steve Bannon. But the MSM is celebrating today along with the likes of Shapiro and Co. I’m not sure what the WH thought this would achieve, but what is actually going to happen is that this is going to be presented as a sign of PDJT admitting guilt for Charlottesville, for “racist and bigoted” policies, and as further proof of the “fatal divides within the GOP”. There is no way around that. I am sitting here honestly waiting for the announcement for a moratorium on any plans for The Wall until further review.

Yep. I have read many pro-Trump forums, and the ONLY thing that some people said would make them leave is if he fired Bannon.
The timing of this, whether intended or not, makes it looks like the liberals got a scalp. They’ve benn wanting this one, and Gary Cohn and McMaster are still there. Sigh.
