Florida Lawsuit Reveals What Trump Thinks About Discrimination [First Club Open to Blacks]

...In 1997, Trump defied societal conventions when he purchased his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, and converted it into a private club.

Prior to Trump’s arrival, other clubs in the Pam Beach area “had long barred Jews and African Americans — which is to say they practiced a quiet but steely racism,” wrote Jeffrey Lord...

“He put the light on Palm Beach,” said Abe Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League....

Trump went further, asking the town council to lift the existing restrictions on the club, and sending them a copy of “Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner,” a film whose characters defy the race-based discrimination of the day.

The town council would not budge, leading Trump to file a $100 million lawsuit alleging the town was “discriminating against Mar-a-Lago, in part because it is open to Jews and African Americans,” The American Spectator reported.

...Eventually, Palm Beach put an end to its discriminatory restrictions.

“In other words, long before he was running for president, there was Donald Trump battling racism and anti-Semitism in Palm Beach society. Using every tool at his disposal,” Lord wrote.

If the Fake News was an honest institution (it isn't), then NOT only would it NOT be Fake News, it would report TRUTH.

But the pathetic mouth breathers masquerading as journalists are too lazy to do any research on their own.

Too bad that the Red Cross cares more about politics than about those needing their assistance. And the Salvation Army.

I’m sure that the MSM, in their pursuit of ‘truth and the American Way’, will quickly pick up and carry this story incessantly, especially CNN. </sarc>

As if it’ll be reported on CNN or CBS.

“As if it’ll be reported on CNN or CBS.”

Or anywhere else.

>> As if it’ll be reported on CNN or CBS.

If Disney, Comcast, Viacom, or AT&T wanted it reported, it would be reported by at least ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN.

And the Salvation Army.

Even though they claim to be apolitical and discipline their employees for making perceived "political" statements.

There are videos going back as far as at least the 1990’s showing Trump denouncing “racism” and “intolerance” and David Duke specifically - the “Trump’s a racist” slur is just the desperate gasp of those who have nothing else to use against the man and are too ignorant to know how obviously mistaken they are.....

I called the White House 202-456-1111 today and suggested that the President should call a press conference in prime time and run a film of all the times and dates that he denounced KKK David Duke, whatever.
Then run a short film of the Charlottesville people barpttling in the streets. Then make his statement about the fake media and their false narrative.
It would also be good if he had a film about suing Palm Beach to allow minorities in to MarALago.

H’s got plenty of ammunition - hopefully he’ll use it all, even if a little bit at a time....
