That’s how screwed up 1/2 the country is
A traitor who deserved the gallows gets pardoned by another disturbed man ~and~ a sex change on our dime ~and~ a media voice
and normal law abiding citizens have to see handwringing over pardoning Sheriff Joe?? Sad!

Trump will not let this man go to prison. Arpaio was convicted of a misdemeanor. He's not going to prison.

Arpaio was convicted of a misdemeanor. He's not going to prison. In Arizona class 1 misdemeanors can have up to 6 months of prison time. Not sure what penalty Arpaio was given.

As far as the situation on a pardon, I didn’t ask for it but I will accept it if he does do it,”
From what I have read, one needs to apply for a pardon, there is some paper work.

Trump signaled pardon in Phoenix speech. He will let the appeal play out. Then pardon.
