Cable is dying

The news channel will be streaming video. There are lots of them already. This one alone will increase the sales of Roku and such devices to enable receiving it for free over the internet.

Streaming video is not subject to FCC. Streaming video is Free Speech

A paid service on Roku won’t have nearly the reach a cable TV station would. Only political junkies would pay for it.

Why not do both so as to capture as much audience across the entire demographic spectrum as possible?

Until the feds decide it is subject to FCC. And mark my word they are trying everything they can to pull ALL media into the swamp.
