From what I read, Bannon was not scalped. He is apparently on a mission of left wing destruction that could not be accomplished from within the White House.

The presstitutes are going to be shocked when their organizations die.

I would not be surprised if Bannon and his new financial backers buy CNN from Time Warner/AT&T as part of the purchase agreement.....

AT&T has already stated they may spin CNN off as they complete their purchase of Time Warner....

But, but, but, that’s not what Axios says!

Pardon me while I spray myself with my news source and gyrate like a hot millennial.

I think he realizes this agenda won’t be implemented until their are more people in congress that buy into it.. Need to primary repuplicans that currently don’t buy in and best way for him to do that is outside with his media empire he has.. More investment is coming to do even bigger things.

I believe Bannon’s days were numbered once Kelly became chief of staff. It wasn’t a matter of politics, either. Kelly was brought in to institute a much-needed rigid hierarchy in the White House, and that was completely alien to Bannon’s personality. Kelly might be the best White House Chief of Staff in history, but a fabulously wealthy and successful man like Bannon has no interest in answering to someone who has spent his career in the military and then as a civil servant.

Yep - Bannon recognized that he couldn’t do his best work w/o bringing a lot of criticisms from the Left that might “stick” (at least in some folks’ minds). He probably talked with trump and told him he needed to let Bannon go so he could work with effective efficiency.
