I would love to see conservatives and libertarians shift from talking about all of the sometimes nebulous groups and labels, and instead refocus the debate to be around principles, like the founders of our nation did in creating clarity that the colonists could understand in a simplified yet profound way.

Who will venture, from a platform, to articulate the key, relevant principles in a public way? I don't see much of anything improving without a restated set of guiding principles which are able to gather a growing base of adherents and to focus debate and dialogue around reason and rationality...
