Roundup is a weed killer. Apparently the notion of using it on food crops is something new. There is a lot of evidence it may be what’s making the wheat crop of this country undigestable and causing the current epidemic of so-called gluten intolerance - which may have nothing to do with gluten. The Roundup, considered safe for human consumption, kills the gut bacteria and interferes with digestion. I had not known it was a probable carcinogen until now.

This is why I eat so much less bread now, I think.

Have you any scientifically defensible research to support that claim?

Isn’t it Monsanto that’s created Round-Up tolerant wheat...even suing farmers of they use it without Monsanto’s permission (paying for it)?

If you want to try a wheat-free bread, I’ve been using the Ener-G brand tapioca bread for 6 years (since I did an allergy test and found many food allergies that were making me ill). Ener-G brand makes several different flour breads including brown rice , but I found the Tapioca and Light Tapioca to be closest to “real” bread.
