Yes, all true. I've seen those films and back in 1968, in Bermuda, met some lovely people from Coventry and heard some dreadful, factual stories, from them, all about those times.

Never did make it out to Coventry, though, myself, even though we've been to the UK many times over, It just never made the "to go to " list. :-(

I feel very fortunate to have been able to visit the UK twice in my life, but there are so many places I wish I could have gotten to, like the Imperial War Museum. Too old now, and no money either. I did manage to get to the D-Day Beaches of Normandy just prior to arriving in London in 2006, and that is something I will never forget.
