Gov. Charlie Baker should do more than just remove the boarded-up Confederate memorial on Georges Island inBoston Harbor.It is the only Confederate memorial in thestate, placed there in 1965. It memorializes 13 Confederate soldiers who died under horrible conditions at nearby Fort Warren, which was a prisoner-of-war camp during the Civil War. It housed 1,000 Confederate prisoners.

Figured this.

I wonder how many Left-leaning mayors asked staffers to "go find me something, anything related to the Confederacy," this week, looking to pander.
