Google is wasting their time recording me. I do not buy any advertised product. I know what I need, and THEN I go shopping for it. Besides, I lead the most mundane life, spending majority of my waking hours chasing a dimpled white ball on the golf course.

One problem with that graphic - speakers don’t record.

‘the cloud’ is a data center. I participated in the fuel systems construction of many (diesel and nat. gas backup). Huge generators, Huge underground/above ground tanks. Redundancy tests that took up to 8 months before anything was allowed to go ‘online’.

Oh the horrors. Turn the app off and don’t use it if you are paranoid.
As FYI if you call a bank or invest advisor all those calls are recorded and made available to the feds. The Dodd Frank Act required this. Maybe that has been eliminated now? Not sure.

I think the Big Ears and Goggles (Googles?) pic is required here.

My draft of an article that will be the September feature at my Conservative Resource Center takes a look at the intellectual & ethical
confusion--to put the kindest face on it--of Google, when dealing with the pursuit of knowledge & the understanding of causation.

Just the other day at homeschool co-op I had my iPhone in my hand and another mom asked where I purchased my son’s science books. I told her the company name. Less than 30 minute later I had an email from that company telling me that this particular science curriculum was 35 percent off.
I never got emails from the company before that.

Recording conversations without permission is a felony in many states. The Google CEO and anyone else involved in this need to be locked up.

When Clinton was in office my daughter and I would talk on the phone and one of us would say: "Clinton Bombing" and the other would answer: "Clinton Bombing."
Just in case someone was listening.
During Obama's regime we changed it to: "Obama Bombing" followed by a nice little discussion of the contents of extremely full baby diapers.
And we would laugh and laugh.

Anyone who does not know this by now, is asleep at the wheel. Even networked TVs do this as well as game boxes, etc. And anyone who thinks the IoT (Internet of Things) is a great idea, is just plain stupid.
