We’ve been there for 16 years for just that purpose. Please tell me how we’re going to do anything differently to achieve that objective, and please tell me what victory looks like an how e get there.
And why are we protecting Russia’s, Pakistan’s, and Iran’s flanks?
While they’re still bring them in as refugees?!?! If it’s not them doing the killing it’s their American born kids. None of their strategy makes any sense.

I agree with you. And I don’t believe Trump will fight a war of containment, or by absurd rules of engagement that are designed to make America lose. I don’t believe he will allow the UN or Congress to direct it, either.

I’d prefer we root them out of our back yard and send them to Afghanistan.
