???
Perhaps you should read more carefully. They failed to pay grazing fees. There was no rustling.
From what I understand the government jacked up the grazing fees so high that it was no longer profitable to raise cattle. They were trying to get them off the land.
You know what I would do if somebody trespassed on my land? I’d call the local law enforcement...in this case the local sheriff. I can’t find where in the constitution it allows for the federal government to militarize its agencies and handle LOCAL legal matters by force. Yes...I know it was federal land, but that’s a whole other matter that isn’t allowed for in the constitution.
You are missing much of the “nuance” of Federal powerhungry over reach and the influence of corrupt Dingy Harry.
I think OP means the Feds who stole the cattle.
Do you know ANYTHING ABOUT THIS STORY????
The feds presented him with a new contract that virtually guaranteed they would confiscate his ranch.
Many of his ranch neighbors had signed and had their ranches taken by the feds.
The cattle rustlers were the government agents removing cattle. I think that’s who she was referring to.
I think he meant the Federal Government Cattle Rustlers.
Whoa you better back up , The BLM tried to sell some of the cattle though local sales but no sale barn would take them
Weren’t the feds the rustlers?

Oh Yes there was....Perhaps you should read more carefully. Fed Gov rustled and attempted to hide their handiwork.
And BLM failed to maintain the land for grazing.
I am responding to both of you here:
1. This trial was about the events in Nevada and not the events in Oregon.
2. The cattle rustlers I referred to are the Federal agents who killed and stole cattle that rightfully belonged to the Bundy family.
3. On the matter of grazing fees the jury obviously disagreed with the notion that the Federal government can impose fees for people to use a grazing right that is theirs by title.
