He’s in his 70’s, still married to his wife of 18 years, and he couldn’t remain silent and watch the activists push others into the ordeal he went through. He was abused by his grandmother; she secretly made him a purple dress and dressed him in it for a few years starting when he visited at 7 years old. He was also molested by an uncle but no one believed him. Much later he learned he had a dissociative disorder from the trauma of being dressed/treated like a girl and molested (but not believed).
