Student/children are part of the problem, yes - but administrators are the largest problem. Weak. Ignorant. Left wing. Just terrible.
The problem is, it takes strong political leadership at the state level to reform education, especially Big Education. The political leadership in states like Virginia, California and many other places is just . . . corrupt.

The school, like all the “competitive admissions” ones, has a quota system. How many of those minority students were admitted only because of a quota is unknown. How many would have been admitted without the proper box being checked is anyone’s guess. But now they are making irrational demands ... kinda serves the school just right.
