HONOLULU ― State Rep. Beth Fukumoto (D-Hawaii) received a letter in the mail after watching the violence unfold at the white supremacy rally in Virginia and seeing President Donald Trump’s mixed reaction to it.
“Dear B####,” began the note, mailed last week to the lawmaker’s Honolulu office. “Your poor grand parents got put into a camp in the USA? Boo hoo hoo ― you Japs murdered thousands of servicemen at Pearl Harbor ― did you forget that detail?”

Not necessarily fake. I lived in Hawaii for a couple of years. There is deep seated racism by Asians for whites and blacks and even other Asian ethnic groups. (The Chinese don’t like the Japanese or Filipinos; The Japanese don’t like anybody). Would not be surprised if some elderly white guy took the opportunity for a little pay back.
FDR(D-Fascist) put the Japanese in camps.
FDR’s Klansman Supreme Court Justice made the ruling that let the camps stand.
Stamps are not cancelled, and the bulk mailing ID at the bottom also show it is most likely from her office.

This once-a-RINO is a highly influential Democrat Rep... and her liberal constituency is eating this up as proof that Trump supports are racist, hate letter writers.
Something serious needs to happen here... like her resignation. This cannot stand.

One problem:
The USPS also applies that barcode after it reads the address. It is the location the letter is going TO. Not who sent it.
Yes, return envelopes in your bills have that type of barcode preprinted. But look at your Christmas card envelopes that you received. They all have the same barcode applied after they were mailed. It is the barcode for your address.
I’m not saying this letter isn’t a scam. Just saying the Twitter guy doesn’t know USPS facts.

Agreed! Very odd. If USPS ran it though a bar code reader, one would think they would cancel the collector stamps!
