'Well-oiled' activist ops targeting GOP reps at their homes, hijacking town halls
Fox News ^ | August 24, 2017 | Maxim Lott

The left has upped the stakes in its guerilla operations against Republicans, as deep-pocketed groups fund protesters to show up to the offices and even houses of congressmen to protest their lack of "town hall" meetings. ------- Local chapters of a left-wing group called “Indivisible” helped organize and lead those two protests. ------- ...in which left-wing groups throw their first punch by rounding up activists and training them to be as disruptive as possible during representatives’ town halls. ------- when lawmakers stop holding those events, the groups throw their second punch by protesting at their homes. ------- While local chapters helped organize some of the protests at representatives’ homes, Kalla said the national group does not support that. “Indivisible does not condone protesting at the private residence of a member of Congress,” she said.

If things are down to paid protesters and actors disrupting events, should simply stop the events. I don’t care the party of the elected official, this is simply wrong and undermines our democracy. Maybe limited groups to ID carrying registered voters that live in the district? Oops, we can’t ask for ID, can we?

These idiots had better do some real thorough target research before they show up at some houses of people I know.

Those guys believe in the adage “better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6” and they will assume the worst and react accordingly.

This is really escalating. Left will stop at nothing to win, and I fear the only one w/ a spine in DC is our POTUS.
I pray for his safety daily.

There are a lot of people who will bend to this kind of intimidation. In fact, they already are. Why do you think statues are coming down in waves.

Personally, it makes me feel defiant. I have always sworn off my distaste for politics, and I probably still wont since I don’t have the used-car salesman personality slickified for political levels of deceit, but it makes me want to get into it and start repping.

Seems like a racketeering charge would be in order here.

Protesters are in the public square and have no expectations of privacy. Any Congressman being protested at home should snap a photo and put it on his Congressional web page front page saying "look at these idiots at my house."

Next day, photoshop missing teeth and tinfoil hats on them. Have fun.

Too bad the local media (here, at least), seems to have swallowed the Kool-Aid sent down from their national offices. We have had 100% garbage reporting on this issue of GOP politicians holding (disrupted) town hall meetings. The MSM reports on these, as if the GOP office-holders are being unhelpful, unapproachable, and evading contact with their constituents. It would be accurate for the MSM to report that these disruptions are FAKE and SCRIPTED.

I agree with what you said, but the problem is that the media carries the water for the protesters/dems on these issues, and adds to the smear campaigns against the GOP office-holders. Then the low/no information types, who get all their “news” from the sound-bytes on the local 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. news broadcasts, buy up the idea that these office-holders are not accessible and refuse to comment on whatever bizarre accusation of the day is on the airwaves.

At the source, there's a sticker "MN for Action" stuck to a poster.

Alinsky lives. All of these destructive groups put Alinsky into practice through Obama's Army - Organizing for Action.
