Amazon has “Amazon Fresh” service in some areas. They deliver to your door on buyers schedule.

I’m really leery of any on-line food delivery service. Like to see, feel, and smell fruit, veggies, meat, and fish for freshness and quality.

Frozen meat and seafood in opaque packages are off my list regardless who sells them. Too many times I’ve gotten things that had defrosted and been re-frozen, just plain rotten. And from supposedly respectable big chain stores.

I'm careful what I eat. In all honesty, almost every food chain has healthy options; times really have changed. For one feeding themself, it's often less expensive (if coupons are used wisely) and fresher food. There's just no way, financial or for fresh food, that I benefit from having to buy too much of an item because of the way it's packaged. For freshness and quality, I do best with a local chain that cater to the immigrant populations and for fruits and vegetables a grocer that does just that. I don't trust the large chains unless they have relatively small sections for fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats, and I can see that they're constantly keeping the updated.

I wish there were a Whole Foods or other grocery that was into their array of healthy food choices. But I'm with you....I don't feel confident about having fresh, frozen, or refrigerated foods being delivered to me.
