Techinacaly she did not lie. She asked the press to lie and say it was a senior staffer. The interesting thing is her confidence the media sorces would comply...I have to guess she did not mean for honest people to see this.

Maybe. But it’s kind of a distinction without a difference, in that someone wanted to leak to the press that Gorka was fired, and this broad whose husband was Fiorina’s campaign manager certainly fits that description.

Excuse me, but asking someone to lie for you is equal to making the lie yourself. It’s no different than ‘Subornation of Perjury.’ You are procuring another to lie ... How is it any different, morally, then when lying, in a material matter? The only difference is you’re not “under oath,” which would then make the subornation a criminal offense. To induce someone to lie, IS to lie.
