Otis, a German shepherd mix, got loose Friday night from a screened-in back porch in Sinton, Texas, while in the care of Salvador Segovia, 65. Segovia was watching the dog, who belongs to his 5-year-old grandson Carter who had fled the city due to flooding.

"Segovia checked his porch Saturday morning and noticed Otis’ bag of dog food was missing. Segovia drove around his neighborhood looking for the pooch when he was flagged down by a neighbor who said they saw Otis walking around with the bag of food in his mouth."

If that dog was so danged smart, why didnt he

A dog that is smarter than a lot of those over in Houston. Is Otis a “rescue dog” too? He should be.

We drug our Shepherd to Tyler yo escape put him in the utility room of an old historic home we are remodeling ( 1850’s) and he chewed some rat poison. He threw it up and seems completely fine.

The dog is there in the ruined house with him. I don’t see a woman anywhere in the photo.

That top photo of the two was of a different dog. They had included it in the gallery. I didn’t realize until after I posted that it was a different dog. I pointed this out in a post yesterday.
