Russia orders MASS EVACUATION over North Korea missile launch

RUSSIA has dramatically relocated 1,500 people from its border with North Korea after Kim Jong-un's latest missile launch, it was reported today.

By Joshua Nevett / Published 29th August 2017

Russian civil defence officials were reportedly ordered to shift residents in the country's far east to "safe areas" in a extraordinary move amid fears of a worldwide conflict.

North Korea angered the international community by launching a missile that flew directly over Japan.

In response, US President Donald Trump threatened the communist state with military action, warning "all options are on the table".

As Trump reeled from the provocative test, thousands of people from the city of Vladivostok were moved as part of an emergency operation.

Russia President Vladimir Putin fears the US may wage war against the secretive state after Trump threatened to unleash "fire and fury" should it fire more missiles.

The order to evacuate residents "came from the regional department of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies", according to pro-Kremlin media outlets.

Russia shares a 24 mile land border with reclusive North Korea.

The civil protection department in Vladivostok was instructed to relocate residents living in the border area with North Korea.

The relocation was later described as a "training exercise", but it was unclear where the 1,500 were moved, according to FedPress.ru.

The article is poorly worded. People weren’t evacuated from Vladivostok. They were evacuated from the Korean border which is about 150 miles from Vladisvostok. The civil defense agency handling the evacuation is location in Vladisvostok.

They’re clearing out the border village of Khasan Xacah. Probably to convert it to a supply depot. They moved amphibious-capable supply units to the NK border several months ago. Imo the Russians anticipate the Freedom Bridge into NK (just outside the village) may not last long in a shooting war. The amphibious supply units indicate the Russians intend to continue supply operations into NK following the loss of the bridge.

The 1,500 were moved to make room for the 15,000 troops of the division of troops moved to the border.

They forgot to use the word BOOM! in the title...but they did cover just about ever other click-bait term.

These Russians have actively been employed, either in civilian or military capacity, in supporting and proping up the Regime in NK since the conflict (WAR) began. Had the Soviets not provided materiel support, possibly even pilots early in the war... Communism failed to take and hold the field in South Korea - the gamble by China and Russia to push the US out of Asia failed, but Kim Il Sung was installed as dear leader.

Moving people actively engaged in the war efforts of North Korea was a smart move since they would probaby end up as collateral damage or at a minimum see any and all equipment and warehouses engaged in support of North Korea destroyed.

Interesting. So, unlike some others on the forum, including those who consistently, over the years, defend and make excuses for Putin and Russia, you do not think they are preparing to abandon their NK comrades, but instead are digging in to defend them?

Meanwhile, our resident Putinistas are claiming the Russians are giving us the "green light" to hit NK, as opposed to the reality of them simply protecting their own forces who remain closely allied with NK from a possible US air attack.

There are some diehard Putinistas on the forum spreading the propaganda that the Russians similarly fear a NK nuke strike, on them! I don't know why these phony SOBs are allowed to remain on the site, spreading obvious BS like that. It couldn't be clearer what they are doing.

“you do not think they are preparing to abandon their NK comrades, but instead are digging in to defend them?”

Of course.

Russia has a mutual assistance treaty and China has a mutual defense treaty with NK.

Many Russian soldiers still don’t use socks because they prefer the rag. It’s more adjustable for different feet, easier to wash in the field and less prone to holes. Newer is not always better.

Dependence on specific Technology and material things are actually severe handicaps in war.

Russians have beaten back numerous attacks on their soil and faced hard times for generations unimaginable to modern snowflakes. I was taught how to live off grid and survive when there is NOTHING.

Today I still grow hundreds of pounds of food and collect rainwater while neigbors scratch their heads.

If the grid goes down in 90% of Russia, people will barely flinch. They dont depend on the government or grid for anything. And Russians have far more hidden guns than the government can imagine.

If the grid goes down in 90% of the USA today, too many people will be completely helpless and starving. They’ll cannibalize this country until it collapses. Not a clue how to make their own water/food.

I like technology but people become far too dependent on it.

Thanks. I knew and understood what you meant. I just wanted to highlight and emphasize it for those who laugh at the thought of Russia being any kind of threat to us. Some of them actually believe it, while others are, paid or unpaid, Putin apologists who will quickly come to his defense no matter what the issue or action he has taken.

Like getting bogged down in the Ukraine?

Yeah. Like helping Iran get the bomb?

Yes, brilliant. Gosh, they’re just light years ahead of us.

Russia has a problem with Islamic people, just as we do. Good luck with Iran having nukes that can reach Moscow.

You can’t trust the Islamic, and Russia still hasn’t figured that one out.

Six chess moves behind us. Yeah, perhaps. It’s probably more like ten.

If I were Russia, I wouldn’t want a psychotic nut job like Kim to have nukes on my border.

Russia is exposed here.

After Kim, Russia can go in and mop up. I don’t really care.

We should destroy his bomb and missile centers and be done with it.
