No, though they are. There's some evidence that Germany declared them a terror group back in the 80s-90s. But not clear. Not popular in Europe though. Though down the ladder from Islamist terrorists.

Antifa is an outlaw communist organization. Federal law 50 USC 841 specifically outlaws communist organizations.

Communist organization? Are you sure? Yes, when the Communist militia was banned by the Weimer Republic in 1932 Germany in May, Antifa "arose" in July. With the same membership.

In my mind if 2017 Antifa uses the same flag and name as the 1932 Communist militia, it's a violent Communist militia.
