Coming out of Sam’s China Wal*Mart carrying $10.xx of stuff I had to remind myself - stay alert.
It’s a new Wal*Mart but draws a few strange folk - one was a white guy (like me) trying to buy my pistol I had just retrieved from the trunk (put it there before I went inside). I told him it wasn’t for sale - and if it was it would have to go through my FFL. He then admits to being a FELON and demands to buy it. Boy, that could have gone bad. Was a couple months back. Yikes.
Won’t make that mistake again - when I can, it’s gonna be concealed (it was bagged at that time).
Holy cow. Used to be a super, super safe area. The locals were afraid a WM might draw in folks like that. Appears they weren’t wrong. I talked to a cop and suggested they increase patrols during certain times. He admitted there were known problems.
Heads on swivels at all times. I work 2 blocks from the Wal-Mart where that black fugitive murder that black lady cop in broad daylight a few months ago.
