How water resistant are those things?

They’d be great for communities to have on call in case of flash flooding...if they wouldn’t flood out themselves.

It’s all in HEIGHT! If you lift the engine, which includes its air intake, another 4 feet, then you have another 4 feet of capability to get through water (which is probably 2 feet plus to start). If you lift it 6 feet, that much better.

They have snorkel air intakes that run out the side of the fender and up the windshield post as well as water-resistant electricals, etc. so that they will continue to run in very deep water.
