When I voted in the 2012 election, the poll worker wrote an “R” on my ballot in red ink. When I went to scan my ballot, there was a notice that any marks not in black ink would invalidate my ballot.

I complained, but Brenda Snipes was the election supervisor so you can imagine how effective my complaint was.

It was very frustrating.

Note, bring white out on election days.
