Today has been a very bad Mom day and it’s not quite 5pm.
Penny and I stuck to the main path today while hiking to avoid any possible wasp nests.
Got a nice ride in and expect rain tomorrow.
It’s getting quite cool here, especially at night.
Sorry to hear about your Mom.Late afternoons and sunsets are very difficult with elders with dementia-related issues. They even have a name for it - “Sundown Syndrome”.
My sister’s husband with early Onset experiences it, and she turns on every light in the house.
I imagine it must be worse in Alaska!
