And wrongly so.
POTUS can do whatever he pleases for 60 days according to the War Powers Resolution. All he has to do is inform the top 8 members and cite imminent threat.
Making the case for “Imminent threat” is easy in this case.
In strategic war, 60 days is beyond forever.
I’d let the Air Force and Navy address the situation. Curtis LeMay had the right idea.
