North Korea’s latest test: More diplomacy will only make matters worse, says Amb. Bolton
Fox News ^ | Sept. 03, 2017

Following North Korea’s announcement that it successfully tested a thermonuclear device on Sunday, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton said more diplomacy will only make matters worse regarding the Hermit Kingdom’s nuclear threat to surrounding countries and America.

“I think the only diplomatic option left is to end the regime in North Korea by effectively having the South take it over,” Bolton told “Sunday Morning Futures.” “Anybody who thinks that more diplomacy with North Korea or sanctions, whether against North Korea or an effort to apply sanctions against China, is just giving North Korea more time to increase its nuclear arsenal, increase its ballistic missile capability, increase the accuracy of its guidance systems and put us, South Korea and Japan in more jeopardy.”

In addition to the threat of the country launching a thermonuclear weapon, Bolton explained that the willingness of Kim Jong Un to sell anything for money is also quite worrisome.

“They could sell these weapons, ballistic missiles and the nuclear devices themselves to Iran in a heartbeat. North Korea can sell these devices to terrorist groups around the world; they could be used as electromagnetic pulse weapons (EMPs), not necessarily hitting targets, but destroying our electric grid’s capabilities,” the former ambassador said, adding that they could also be used for nuclear blackmail.

Nothing good will happen with this problem ... that does not involve a lot of blood.

Bolton is right. The more you kiss a bully’s ass, the more shit you have to put up with. The porcine little NK punk needs a slap down. Start shooting his missels down...IF we have the confidence our system works. How about arming Japan with nukes? That would set a bunch of the pink panty crowd on their asses. Would probably stop a lot of this blabber going on, too.

Don't "kill the messenger". Bolton might have a point here. Negotiations with North Korea started in Clinton's administration. Robert Gallucci, who Clinton appointed as the negotiator, was on CSPAN this morning. He was quite defensive of his role, but acknowledged that North Korea never lived up to their promises. With George the Second and Obama, they did nothing to keep North Korea from developing weapons, even though it was known that North Korea was developing weapons.

Gallucci emphasized an important point. Regime change madness (my word, not his) by both Bush2 and Obama has the North Korean dictator convinced that he has to have powerful weapons to stop that from happening to him.

It's a sobering thought. With all the chaos the US and our allies have fermented around the world, a lot of Chess pieces have been moved and there are unintended consequences. Perhaps one of them is that countries such as North Korea and Pakistan have legitimate concerns that the US is way too fond of toppling governments, and they have to be able to defend themselves.

I saw him, too. He was almost jumping up and down with excitement in his desire to start World War III.

"He was almost jumping up and down with excitement in his desire to start World War..."

He says in his most Chamberlain-esque accent.

Well yeah, and then Hillary laughed about the death of Libya's leader, who was glad to give up his nuke program.

North Korea is probably just the beginning.

A unified Korea under the protection of the west is an unacceptable result for China. They will intervene to prevent that under any circumstances.

http://www.unz.com/article/mccains-transmutation-from-cautious-realist-to-super-hawk/

A very worthy read, when you have the time.

Americans have to stop believing in the MSM and start getting rid of those in government who are there because of who they know, rather than what they know.

Until then the “death grip” around the throat of America can not be released.

And his challenge on Fox this afternoon, how many dead Americans for each dead Korea? Personally, they can all die, both North and South, if that prevents the death of a single American. And both Koreas and China should realize that. We need to stop North Korea NOW before they can truly attack the US.

He could start by correcting the headline, which should be:

“Chinese nuclear test conducted by North Korea”.

And, the reason you are disrespecting Ambassador Bolton would be?

We’ll need a clear explanation of your reason(s) for your disrespect and your proffered solution to the NORK problem!

McStain? YES! Deserves every kind of disrespect we can lard on him?

Bolton? NOT SO MUCH! He has a firm grasp of the obvious.
