I don’t care how well they do here...take it back to their countries and make it better for their own people. And be grateful they have the opportunity to take what they’ve acquired in their knowledge and make a difference...THERE!

The girl you speak of was illegal.....playing on peoples emotions by how her mother died crossing the desert etc. doesn’t work with me because I can tell you stories of like wise people who ARE HERE and Citizens who don’t get those advanatges though they have they are deserving of those advantages and have the ability to succeed.....they don’t get them because some illegal has a sob story.

When we have properly educated our own citizens with gifted abilities....and lifted those citizens in our own country who deserve to be lifted up.....then bring in others.....until that happens I oppose and will continue opposing educating those from other countries who refuse to return to their home countries.

OK

Anyway, never once did I hear a sob story from her. I more or less pried it out of her when I became impressed with her scholarly work. It was just that I and my colleagues were more impressed with her as a student than any other we had seen in decades; and we hoped for her to get into one of our state universities, that's all.

And OK, it turned out just as you suggested in your response to me.
