People that post on places like Facebook are giving up their privacy and often reveal things that only a thief would appreciate. Like, we’ll be gone this weekend - our house will be empty and ripe for the pickings.

Love to see that in places where the homeowner surprises them.......With guns ready....Oh,I forgot to tell my Facebook friends we cancelled our plans...Too bad you fellas didn’t get the message

My wife is on Facebook but never posts, is "friends" with maybe 2 dozen people. She can't believe all the "I'm on vacation in posts", like only people you know and trust see that stuff. This may be so, but is not a given.
