Koch Brothers Line Up with DACA Illegals to Pressure Republican Congress to Pass Amnesty

Long-time pro-mass immigration billionaires Charles and David Koch became the latest force to pressure congressional Republicans to nullify the end of DACA with a legislative amnesty Thursday.

Koch spokespeople said the brothers will throw their weight behind the growing effort to force a two-house GOP majority that has refused to pass either funding for the southern border wall or the RAISE Act, a key nationalist immigration reform, to quickly pass an amnesty for those who were once exempted from federal immigration law under President Barack Obama’s DACA.

The Koch amenability to open borders and amnesty is nothing new. In 2013, they sponsored an “Immigration Summit” featuring admitted illegal alien Jose Antonia Vargas and a half dozen other open borders fundamentalists. In 2016, Charles Koch compared then-candidate Donald Trump’s immigration proposals to “Nazi Germany.”

This year, Koch-funded groups stepped up their pro-illegal alien rhetoric. The LIBRE Initiative, a Hispanic-outreach wing of the Koch political empire, launched a campaign to pressure Congress to grant driver’s licenses and other government benefits to illegal aliens. In August, they issued a press release calling for amnesty and saying so-called “Dreamers” “represent some of the best and brightest in our country.”

After Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the phased end of DACA, the group doubled down, calling for Congress to pass amnesty for illegals who violated American immigration laws when they were young.

Facebook founding billionaire Mark Zuckerberg is very much in tune with the Koch network over DACA, as is the Chamber of Commerce.

With 18 Congressional Republicans clamoring to quench the business elite’s thirst for young illegal alien labor even before the end of DACA was announced, the Koch’s and their ilk in that world are unlikely to have trouble finding allies in their push for amnesty.

This means they are liberals on social issues.

On economic matters they are - in a word - greedy. But a lot of liberals are greedy.

Any policy towards illegals must - MUST - address the incentives that are set up by that policy. Are you incentivizing more to try their hand at illegal entry or are you incentivizing them to stay home and apply through the legal process?

With 600 million people south of our porous non-existent southern border and untold millions outside the Americas who might also avail themselves of this easy access, there can be only one immigration policy -

Stop giving prizes

for illegal entry.

Any measure that permits those who entered illegally to benefit from that illegal act is amnesty. And any amnesty will bring millions more invaders.

This must be stopped.
