I was listening that day and the following when he was getting a laugh out of the predictable fake news story that he down played the storm.
He absolutely did no such thing. He was pointing out the obvious idiocy of the Sheeple loosing their minds over bottled water, driven by the always predictable absolute media driven hysteria.
Funny thing, that would largely be largely the same Sheeple that fall hook, line and sinker for the global warming hoax.
They always say “mandatory”, but they are actually not. They cannot take you into custody and forcibly remove you from your home. They would have to have reasonable suspicion that you had committed some crime.
Mandatory evacuations merely alert citizens that they will probably die if they stay in place. It is required by law.
Joe Concha is a good writer/analyst who appears just about every week with both Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, etc. My guess is that The Hill titled the article...
Interesting that the ZONE of TOTALITY matches the path of IRMA almost to a ‘t’.
This is a story becuase....
It isn't a story.
Limbaugh also taking the day off most likely due to So Flo airports shutting down this afternoon.
Low IQ — I have noticed that myself. What we sometimes put down as lying, twisting, Leftism, is just plain idiocy. They don’t know any better. I heard a woman on Fox news advise all of us that the clean up and restoration in Houston would take longer than the length of the storm.
I agree with Rush’s view. The liberal media want to run the show, they also have been losing huge amounts of viewers and in their sick way this will get people back. They are hyping everything so that their sponsors will earn big bucks. They are doing a number on people’s fears for their own profit. The huge bright red, roiled up blob that is Irma reminds me of Hillary in the lamp throwing tantrums she gets into.
They are just stupid. Didn’t listen to a minute of the show.
From the Swill...
More proof comprehension isn’t their forte.
Why is it recycled?
Rush did poo poo this storm as overhyped and tha left would use it to advance man made climate change
That's the "panic" that Limbaugh was talking about.
He was saying that there was an unreasonable urgency when Irma was still in the eastern Atlantic Ocean. That's not to say that the urgency since Tuesday isn't justified, but it likely wasn't over last weekend and sooner.
I didn't listen to the show last week, because I was still home from Harvey watching the local coverage.

They should point out where Rush is incorrect.
Rush is still right. Irma IS a very large and destructive hurricane. But that does not alter the fact that the news types hype every storm and TRY to convince everyone that it’s the worst; and that it’s caused by AGW. We’ve ALWAYS had hurricanes.
AP had a hit piece on Rush too.
Limbaugh was not dismissing the danger of hurricanes, he was criticizing the unproven connection between hurricanes and “climate change,” and how claiming a link between hurricanes and climate change is used to bully people into accepting a long political agenda. So I think Concha was just looking for a “gotcha” story.
The media are always the same: if we have unusually cold weather, they say it has nothing to do with long-term climate change. But if we have a draught (or heavy rain!) or massive hurricane, it is called a manifestation of long-term climate change.
Meh. It’s looking like it will have decreased to a category two by the time it gets that far north.
