Gender dysphoria is among a collection of identity dysphoria MENTAL PROBLEMS.
Instead of giving in to the mental problem with a “fix” for a body that has noting wrong with it, ALL the sympathy, parental and professional effort should be given to supporting all efforts that will help a child with the “gender dysphoria” obsession move away from it.
The mind can be repaired to dump the obsession. The body is never truly “fixed” to match it, and what constitutes “transgender” surgery is actually physical mutilation of a body that is not “wrong”.
Yes, the mind is capable of lying to us.
And why would parents help a lie that has taken hold in their child as an obsession obtain their consent to torture their child’s body for the rest of their life.
THAT is the root cause. Real parents know how to say NO. and HELL NO!
