The Associated Press shirked their own style guide in a recently published article, using “undocumented citizens” in lieu of their usual “undocumented immigrants.”
The article with the strange reference was published on September 5 and discusses Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s response to President Donald Trump’s decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
“The Chicago Sun-Times reports that school officials say about a third of the school’s students are undocumented citizens,” the AP wrote.

These illegal invaders are undocumented, so that is true. They are also citizens. Some are citizens of Mexico, some of Honduras, some of Syria, and some of Poland, but they are all citizens somewhere. By Clinton standards, the phrase is not a lie. It’s just thoroughly deceptive - standard for the mainstream media.

One way to look at it is, that's one heck of an opportunity, enforcement-wise. There are probably countless Federal agencies that have the names, addresses, and parent or parents' names of every kid in those schools. And they now know that a third of them are probably illegal. Makes winnowing down the likelies vastly easier, in numbers that could make a significant difference.
And it sure would jump-start what you might call the "self-deportment."
