Anti-gouging rules are preventing people from hoarding fuel. A local sheriff reported people are buying tons of fuel rather than what they need for a few days or a short trip.

Allowing station owners to raise their prices HIGH will prevent this.

Yep. I've read several stories where people are filling up to 10 gas containers.

Price controls and anti-gouging laws ALWAYS lead to shortages. Always. Many have tried to defeat the laws of Supply and Demand. All have failed.
