WATCHES AND WARNINGS
The Storm Surge Warning has been extended from the Volusia/Brevard
County Line northward to the South Santee River.
The Hurricane Watch west of the Aucilla River to Indian Pass has
been upgraded to a Hurricane Warning, and the Tropical Storm Watch
west of Indian Pass to the Okaloosa/Walton County Line has been
upgraded to a Tropical Storm Warning.
A Tropical Storm Warning has been issued north of Fernandina Beach
to South Santee River.

Wife’s friend from years back evacuated Key West and came up to NC with the women.
Husband and son-in-law decided to ride it out. Oh, well, best of luck to them.

I’ve kayaked all those islands including sawyer key where some rich guy built a dome home and had to abandon it when the blue heron NWR was created
I finally got out there in the dark ,girlfriend ready to kill me bugs coming out at dusk k
Then I saw the white dome
The genius funneled water from the roof into 10000 gallon tanks cement tanks at base of bldg
Amazing. Stayed a week
Anyhow for those still there realize only on the really big islands do you have any chance if your staying
Mangroves are quite amazing as well when a big one gets you unexpected
