PORTLAND -- Violence broke out between opposing groups at an anti-white nationalist rally in Portland that left at least one police officer injured, CBS affiliate KOIN-TV reports. Police made several arrests in the city's downtown area as two groups faced off over different views on white nationalism. The Portland Police Department tweeted that marchers and residents should clear the area for their own safety, adding that officers reported protesters attacking photographers and that projectiles were thrown at officers. They said several arrests were made and at least one officer was injured.

White Nationalists are defined as those people who want to create a Caucasian-pigment-skin-ruled America. These people are creatures of Leftist imagination.

The contestants in this match-up:

Patriot Prayer is an American right-wing advocacy group based in Portland, Oregon. The organization has become known for organizing rallies and protests in predominantly liberal areas. Some of the rallies have drawn controversy due to the attendance of white nationalists, though the group’s founder Joey Gibson, a Japanese-American, has disavowed them and denounced racism. - Wiki

Portland Stands United Against Hate: “Portland United Against Hate is a community initiated partnership of Community Based Organizations, Neighborhood Associations, concerned communities and the City, working with the Office of Neighborhood Involvement to build a rapid response system that combines reporting and tracking of hateful acts and providing the support and protection our communities need in this uncertain era.

The City of Portland, in taking an active role to support the work of this collaborative effort set aside $350,000 for the 2017-2018 fiscal year.”

“Then the protest that began in Portland moved across the river into Vancouver, where Joey Gibson’s Patriot Prayer group gathered....Patriot prayer leader Joey Gibson on why he moved rally to Vancouver: “I’m done with the violence.”

But that didn’t stop the protests.

The anti-white nationalists marched through the streets of Vancouver, engaging in some confrontations while chanting “Go home, Nazis!”

Just before 4:30 p.m. the driver of a 4×4 truck sped through the crowd of marchers. Though no one was hit, it created chaos.”

Are they sure these were “white nationalists”?

Maybe they were just anti-brown nationalists, you know the MEChA crowd? Reconquista? Aztlan dreamers still trying to win a war they lost nearly 200 years ago?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MEChA
MEChA began during the 1960s, empowered through the political movements of the time, especially the civil rights and Chicano Movement. The group coalesced out of several organizations which had formed during that turbulent decade. In 1969, students from twelve universities met at a conference in Santa Barbara, California, and called for a unification of all student and youth organizations into one organization, MEChA.[1] The Denver, Colorado-based Crusade for Justice, a civil rights and educational organization founded in the mid-1960s, concerned itself with the problems of the city’s Chicano youth. One of the founding documents, “El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán”, was drafted during this conference. This document reflects the sentiment of the Latino/Chicano youth during an era of a turbulent social climate (especially in the wake of violence experienced by Latino youth from the US military and police during the Zoot Suit Riots).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plan_Espiritual_de_Aztl%C3%A1n
The Plan Espiritual de Aztlán (English: “Spiritual Plan of Aztlán”) was a pro-indigenist manifesto advocating Chicano nationalism and self-determination for Mexican Americans.

Patriot Prayer Group - another article says they were scheduled for 2, started at 12:30 instead and faked out antifa, who mostly had noone but reporters and cops to fight. It was said the antifa group had a permit but one must question why that permit was granted unless the intent was to promote a mash-up.

Pretty sure you're correct.

An old Alinsky tactic.

Jason Kessler, leader of Unite the Right , who co opted the Charlottesville rally from the Southern Heritage folks was a Occupy Wall St/ barry soetoro supporter until the election.

I have no doubt that he still draws a paycheck from soros.

There are brown nationalists and black nationalists. The media doesn’t call them that but they sell identify as such.

Thanks for your post #17.

Yes, classic Alinsky tactic. Plenty of dimwits to follow Alinskyite false flag leaders.

That is why Jason Kessler of Charlottesville is such an interesting character since he was an OWS, and Obama supporter. When I brought this up to a lefty, she dismmissed it with “well, he may have mental problems”.

I am not so sure.

Joey Gibson-Patriot Prayer are not white nationalists, all are welcome to their group. I am missing the article, I did see Patriot Prayer mentioned.

Patriot Prayer urges supporters to let Antifa beat them up in Oregon

The “antifah” group is funded by the city of Portland. And they had a permit for PORTLAND, but not Vancouver.

” is to wear black and to wear black masks.”

Because white robes and hoods have already been done to death.

Patriot Prayer scheduled a rally. Another group scheduled a counter protest and said on their Facebook page they were in communications with ANTIFA. FYI, Patriot Prayer is not a White Nationalist group. Even the Southern Poverty Law Center says they are not a hate group.. I understand that some White Nationalist have attended Patriot Prayer events. But, the left continues to mischaracterize Patriot Prayer.

Yep, Antifa is the new KKK, and the liberal police and civilian leaders are the biased Southern sheriffs and mayors who looked the other way while all the lynching was going on.

My, but if history doesn’t repeat, it surely rhymes!

>> I have never met a real Nazi or an avowed white nationalist. I know they exist, but fortunately they are rare.

You’ve probably met more than a few but you’re not aware of it. By the way since you think it’s fortunate that they are rare, you must know something about them. Exactly what are contemporary Nazis and avowed white nationalists? What does one have to do or think to be identified by these appellations?

Charlottesville was a Soros operation on both “sides.” Participants with Confederate flags and within black getups with masks came on the same buses. The so called white nationalist parephenalia was all just unwrapped new.
