“No, no it’s not about me”... then proceeds to waste three hours of air time defending himself against braindead libtards.
Rush giving a good illustration of how the leftist Establishment media works, and demonstrating how to fight back.
What does common sense have to do with trashing Rush here when he’s absolutely right? Further, with common sense you can’t grasp that this smear isn’t about every person that doesn’t buy into global warming?
All Rush said was that these storms are gamed to advance the false narrative of man made global warming.
I’d spend all week on that if that’s what it took.
Rush is one person. The media has countless working on this sort of stuff writing articles and making statements as if true, trying to discredit anyone who won’t buy into man made global warming.
Al Roker referenced Rush. A NASA person reference Rush. Joy Bayhar and others on the View did. So did others in the public square.
The intent to is intimidate or ruin anyone who won’t buy in. If they’ll lie or try to ruin Rush, what will they do to others in the workplace, the academic arena, and other places people deal with every day.
And so you take Rush to task. That’s nothing but Brain Dead 101!
Scoffing is easy, but fighting the ideological battles every day is hard work.
Enough Lilliputians could finally tie Gulliver to the ground, but it was only because he was asleep. Rush does not fall asleep for very long at a time, and wakes up stirring long before they get him tied down to the ground.
Which is a good thing, as it keeps all those other voices from being silenced as well.
Common sense should say that Rush was "defending the truth against a barrage of broadcast Big Government propaganda".
First of all, thanks to Kaslin for the post, as I heard the very beginning, but missed most of it.
But I think you misunderestimate the tide that Rush is bucking, whether libtards are braindead or not. And also, I am totally in sympathy with the gist of Rush's screed, and ready to chime in on most of it.
... and I believe he is totally sincere when he he says, "... it's not about me" :-)
