CNN anchor Jake Tapper said the Republican party "acts as if climate change is not real" in an interview with Sen. John McCain on Sunday.
"The Republican Party, as you know, generally speaking, acts as if climate change is not real," Tapper continued. "There are exceptions, you, your daughter, Meghan, the Republican mayor of Miami. But generally speaking, the president, the governor of Florida, et cetera, act as if it’s not real even though the overwhelming scientific consensus is that it’s real and it’s man made."
"Back in 2012 when Superstorm Sandy hit, your daughter Meghan McCain tweeted, 'So are we still going to go with climate change not being real, fellow Republicans?' "
"I don't know because I can't define their motives," replied McCain. "But I know that there are things happening with the climate in the world that is unprecedented. "

That's the real proof that this is a scam. It's not hypocrisy; hypocrites actually believe in the good/bad of the conduct they preach against, but are simply not living up to it themselves. In this case, if "climate change" really was the existential matter of life and death they claim it is, these people simply would not live as they do. The only conclusion I reach from that is that they don't really believe in what they are selling.

some things I never hear anyone talk about, but are worth noting:
1. Climate has changed many times over the eons of earth’s history. There have been numerous ice ages in earth’s history. During the last ice age, Chicago was buried under a mile of ice. How did all that ice melt, except for a period of warming and changing climate patterns then?
2. Even if we say there is climate change, we don’t know how much is due to man, vs. how much is due to natural climate cycles which we don’t fully understand in the first place.
3. And to the extent that natural cycles are happening, we can’t control those cycles.
4. Even if we say there is global warming, is that necessarily a negative thing?. For example, the midwest is a fertile productive agricultural region. Yet they also have severe winters there. That area could be more productive with some warming and a longer growing season. That could actually be a benefit of global warming, right?
5. Even if we say there are rising sea levels, these changes will happen over periods of many decades, which will give us all plenty of time to plan and get out of the way. New York, Boston, Miami, LA, New Orleans, any coastal city, will not flood away overnight. If indeed sea levels rise, we will adapt and get out of the way. Man is not going to go extinct if indeed sea levels are going to rise.

Climate change is very real. This morning the temperature was in the low 60s, and it’s well into the 70s now. Warming!
In January, temperatures were down in the teens and 20s, but by August they were in the 80s and 90s. Warming!
Climate change is even man-made. When the January temperatures were in the 20s, man-made climate change raised them to the high 60s in my home and in my car. I believe - warming!
But then, I also believe the tooth fairy is real.
Well, once the lies are removed, is anthropological global warming real? And if just .4 degrees in one hundred years, is that meaningful? Can it even be measured accurately?
Climate change has not been proved real. Even if real, not shown to be caused by man. Even if caused by man, no showing that the change was harmful. Even if the change was harmful, the cure could be even more harmful. Remember — the proponents of the junk science behind global warming have the burden of proof on ALL of these issues.
Free Republic's DoughtyOne: The Left still can't deal with weather that points away from global warming. Further, they express no knowledge that weather is cyclical, that glacier packs receded from North American thousands of years before man could have impacted the weather to that extent.
The Earth seems to warm and it seems to cool. Several years ago the New York Times declared snow would stop being a natural phenomenon by the year 2100. This year California had one of it's largest snow-packs ever. Some ski resorts till have snow Left from last winter. It's September.
The United States didn't have a single 4 or 5 hurricane hit the lower 48 states in the 12 years prior to hurricane Harvey.
Upon landfall in the United States, hurricane Irma was something like the 7th most powerful in the 100 prior years.
Other hurricanes from the 1990s on, were stronger. So even in recent memory, we've had more devastating hurricanes hit the U.S.
The Left is as unhinged as a group could be, causing many to call them on their group psychosis.

But man made “ climate change” is total BS until it can be imperically measured and that has not nor will it ever be. God made the earth, not man. Man had nothing to do with its making or its day to day maintenance. Global warming failed as a measurable concept so they went fot ambiguity in a faith worship. The real motivation is to take your stuff and give it to paracites. The next time some climate change idolator puts that crap on you, tell them to go to hell.
