Edward Bernaise consulted with Lucky Strike cigarettes and found that they weren’t selling because of the green packaging. He decided it would be cheaper to convince people green is a good color than it would be to change the packaging.

He sponsored a green ball, designers to come up with green furniture and green colored interiors. Green became “in” and Lucky Strike started selling more cigarettes.

I have a feeling we’re being played in a similar way on the whole ‘climate change’ nonsense.
