I think you might be right but there is no irrefutable evidence on Rich— There absolutely is irrefutable evidence on the Email Leak from the DNC and its transmission via Kim.com speed dump to the agents of Julianne Assange. There is the possibility ( but no proof) that Assange and Rich were in communication about the emails and the New York Drop in Central Park. Remember that Assange met with Congressman Rorbacker who says it is “99% certain” after that meeting in London that it was not the Russians. Assange is a hero again on this.
The Democrat’s plan is to find something the news media can pretend links Trump to Russian “dark money”. Constant leaks and articles about speculation will drive 24/7 echo coverage until it drives Trump from office. He needn’t have done anything; they have ben after Trump’s tax returns and financial information since day one. The fake dossier, the Guccifer 2.0 crap, the orgy of unmasking and leaking, the FISA warrants obtained under false premises, etc., are all contrived to this end.
It is interesting that chatter about the dossier being discredited, this story about the Russian hacking myth being discredited, Trey Gowdy commenting that the Dems fear the collapse of the narrative, etc., is bubbling up in many places. Is it coordinated pushback? Or is the dam about to break? Anyone with new evidence had better put it before the public, not rely on Mueller or Sessions to act on it.

If Sessions has recused himself from the Russian investigation, and he and Mueller both have evidence that debunks the fictional narrative of the Russian interference in the 2016 election, then the evidence probably came from Jim Comey's files, which were removed from his office by U.S. Justice Dept. staff when he was filed.
I recall reading that Fitzgerald was going after VP Cheney via Libby who did not turn and sing the sheet music that was offered to him. For the reason you stated, to this day what was done to Libby was a great injustice. May he be pardoned some day while he is still walking this earth.
Special prosecutors (SP) appear to be above the law, responsible to no one but themselves. Also, SP can charge anyone at anytime for any reason. . . if a person got the last open stall in the men’s room at Union Station as the SP walked in, that could be turned into an obstruction charge because the SP in Union Station on his lunch hour was hindered in doing his business in a timely manner which in turn delayed and obstructed his investigation.

The special prosecutor investigation of this magnitude should not have been launched without probable cause. If it turns out that there is no evidence of any crime, and Mueller has 1/1000 of the integrity and ethics that the media has bestowed upon him, then Mueller would prosecute those persons who provided the false information upon which this investigation was launched.
